With the input from Stratos, a company based in Sassuolo, that takes care of superficial finish and cut-to-length operations with large ceramic slabs, Breton developed Huracan.
Huracan is a new automatic, cutting, and chamfering line. The machine is equipped with optical systems that read the perimeter and the surface defects of the slabs to be cut.
It also comes with a sophisticated and effective software that optimized the cutting layout to minimize waste.
Cutting optimization is enabled by a set of lifting suction cups that move the workpieces to the machine table to perform the programmed cutting pattern.
