XEEDER is a range of high-speed vertical machining centers for milling medium size workpieces in superalloys, steel, aluminum, and composite materials.

Designed and developed by Breton SpA to satisfy machining requirements across various industrial applications such as the aerospace industry, precision engineering, and die manufacturing.

The gantry structure, Metalquartz technology, rotary tilting worktable with direct drive are significant and innovative features ensuring a high production output and performance enclosed in a compact design.

The improved structural rigidity compared to a conventional metal or engineered polymer structure is designed to absorb up to 10 x’s more vibrations offering high machining performance when milling complex workpieces with 5-axes.

The thermal symmetry of the machine structure and thermal stabilizing system ensure maximum machining precision when operational and production conditions vary.

Technical specifications: Model 1200/1200RT

Xceeder 1200 RTHD offers an improved work area measuring x-axis 1,200 mm, Y-axis 1,000 mm, and Z-axis 700 mm.

The various structural components guarantee high performance and efficient machine dynamics with a linear axis speed of 60m/min and an acceleration speed of 6m/sec2.

The machining center mounts a rotary tilting table which incorporates direct drive technology and has a diameter of 1,100mm, continuous C and A-axis with +120° to -30° rotation. Rotation speeds reach up to 60 rpm.

The Xceeder is designed to machine workpieces with weights of up to 1,700 kg.

Technical specifications: Model 900/900RT

The work area of the Xceeder 900 RT has been maximized to offer improved machining performance with increased axis travel; X-axis 900 mm, Y-axis 900 mm, and Z-axis 600 mm. The efficient machine dynamics allow for linear axis speeds up to 60m/min and accelerations of 6m/sec2.

The machining center mounts a rotary tilting table which incorporates direct drive technology and has a diameter of 800 mm, continuous C and A axis with a +110 to -30 rotation and rotation speed up to 100 rpm. This model is designed to machine workpieces with weights of up to 1,000 kg.


The machining center is supplied with four different electro-spindles which incorporate a heat control system:

1.) A 55-kW spindle with a 300Nm torque in S1, 480Nm in S6 with a rotation speed of 14,000 rpm is designed for intensive milling operations and is the right solution for machining special alloys such as titanium and Inconel.

2.) A second 40-kW spindle with a 100NM torque in S1 and rotation speed of 18,000 rpm ensures maximum machining flexibility and performance across different materials such as steel and light alloys.

3.) A third 40-kW spindle with a 51Nm torque in S1 with a rotational speed reaching up to 28,000 rpm.

4.) A fourth 40-kW spindle has been purposely designed and developed for precision finishing and milling operations for aluminum and composite materials and reaches a rotational speed of up to 40,000 rpm.

Optional Accessories

All models in the range can be supplied with a tool magazine for holding 30, 60 or 150 tools, automatic pallet changeover and can incorporate other optional accessories to satisfy the most demanding production requirements.
